Matt Shelton is a cybersecurity and product leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning threat intelligence, insider risk, detection engineering, incident response, and cloud security. In his current role at DTEX, he helps define the strategic direction of the company’s insider risk, data protection, and AI-driven security platform — working across engineering, customers, and executives to deliver capabilities aligned to real-world needs.
His career includes leading major intelligence and security engineering programs at Google, Mandiant, and FireEye, serving as a principal investigator during the SolarWinds supply chain compromise, and advising commercial, government, and military organizations on building intelligence-led security programs.
Matt combines deep technical expertise with product leadership, helping organizations understand adversary behavior, reduce risk, and incorporate emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence into their security strategies.
