Tam Vu is a distinguished digital executive and founder of Vitae Partners, with over 30 years of leadership experience across global corporations, government, and independent advisory. Tam joined the DTEX Advisory Board at its inception.
As Managing Director of Vitae Partners, a boutique strategic advisory firm he founded in 2011, Tam advises major Australian government agencies and leading enterprises across financial services, retail, utilities, and logistics on technology strategy, AI governance, and cybersecurity. He brings deep familiarity with the realities of digital transformation in large, complex organizations, particularly at the intersection of public sector reform and enterprise risk.
Prior to founding Vitae Partners, Tam served as Global CIO at BP, CIO for Mars across Asia-Pacific, and Chief Information and Transformation Officer at SEEK. His career reflects deep experience in enterprise transformation, cybersecurity strategy, and the governance challenges of emerging technologies, including AI.
Tam holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Adelaide and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford, MIT and IMD. He has served on two listed boards on the Australian Stock Exchange, and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
